We can confirm that the above tournament will be taking place on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th January 2021. The event has a player fund of £7,000. Players now confirmed are – GM Michael Adams, GM Luke McShane, GM Gawain Jones, GM David Howell, GM Nicholas Pert, IM Ameet Ghasi, GM Daniel Gormally, GM Mark Hebden, GM Keith Arkell, and GM Glenn Flear.
These players have been regulars at Hastings over many years. Two further places are reserved for the Winner and Runner-up in the Caplin British Online Chess Championships, currently underway. These names will be confirmed when the Championships end on 3rd January 2021.
